Educational Background: The author-publisher of this site is a lawyer (LLB), a certified public accountant (BSC Accounting), earned a degree of Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) at the National Defense College of the Philippines, and completed the 2004 Internet Law Program of Berkman Center for Internet and Society – Harvard Law School.

Professional Activities: practicing lawyer, media practitioner, professor, lecturer, bar reviewer, consultant, entrepreneur, and a Lieutenant Colonel, Philippine Army Reserved Force, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Other Activities: Legal and Public Lead of Creative Commons – Philippines, Regional Spokesperson of Creative Commons in Asia and the Pacific, President of the Philippine World Schools Debating Council Inc. (PWSDC),  Member of the Board of Directors of the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) Ltd. and Member of the Sub-Committee on  the  Revision of Rules on Special Proceedings of the Committee on the Revision of the Rules of Court of the Philippine Supreme Court.

Significant Student Awards: During his student days, he obtained the Jose Rizal Scout Rank in the Boy Scouts of the Philippines; an awardee of the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award in high school; and an awardee of the UST Manuel L. Quezon Leadership Award in college.

Areas of Interest: law, information technology, politics and governance, national security, human resource development, labor migration, mass media, and life, living and psychology.
